“Quello che le donne non dicono” (What women don’t say) was the first production completely signed by Itaca.
Our play is a stage readaption of the Italian play “Due partite”by C. Comencini.
We looked at the topics of the women’s emancipation and of the mother/daughter relationship with a new point of view, enriched by our thoughts and our personal experience as women and mothers living in the Dubai social reality, very different from the Italian one of the original play.
Our play was staged at The Junction on the 22nd and 23rd of October 2021.
The Italian TV program “L’Italia con voi” collected our story and our project on this interview (video).
Itaca promotes collaborations with Italian and International Drama Companies and is currently working to the production of drama festivals to be hosted in Dubai and the other Emirates.
